Born and raised in the foothills of Kanchenjunga region, a third highest mountain in the world climbing hills was an everyday affair and each day he had to walk several kilometer’s to get to school. Pasang has the experience of 20 years in the mountains of Nepal, a great leader as director and operator of Mount Adventure Holidays. Beginning his journey in the tourism industry as a humble Porter Guide to founding hospitality establishments and an adventure travel company, he has come a long way. In a career spanning more than two decades he has achieved more than anybody dreams of achieving. Along with his professional achievements, his selfless contribution towards his community and society has won him a lot of accolades and praises. His philanthropic projects include employment schemes for retired porters and guides, financial aid to schools and orphans, free mentoring and training to budding tourism industry professionals etc. His is a story of true grit, determination and passion one that will motivate everybody involved not only in the tourism sector but in all spheres of life.

Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu Circuit Trek is a popular trekking route in Nepal, offering a less crowded alternative to the famous Annapurna and Everest regions. It takes you around the Manaslu Massif, the eighth highest mountain in the world, providing stunning views of the Himalayas, remote villages, and diverse landscapes. The trek is located in the Gorkha District of Nepal, in the western part of the country, and requires special permits for trekking in the Manaslu Conservation Area. The most common duration is approximately 17 days. The trek is moderately difficult, crossing high mountain passes and challenging terrain with altitude gain. It is recommended for experienced trekkers who are in good physical condition. Highlights of the trek include the beautiful Manaslu Mountain, picturesque villages like Samagaon and Samdo, the Tibetan-influenced culture of the region, and the stunning scenery throughout the trek. Before embarking on the Manaslu Circuit Trek, it is essential to plan and prepare thoroughly, including obtaining necessary permits, ensuring proper gear, and acclimatizing to the altitude. During the trek, hikers will encounter breathtaking landscapes, including lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and majestic snow-capped peaks. The Manaslu Circuit Trek also offers opportunities to immerse oneself in the rich local culture by visiting traditional villages and monasteries along the way.
